Digital FUN imagined a new way for traditional and religious culture to thrive in new media form during the Tianwang Tower immersive art gallery in Quzhou city, Zhejiang. During this second collaboration with Fengyuzhu, we used projection mapping to articulate traditional Buddhist culture by turning a seven-meter-tall statue of Buddha into a projection canvas. The result took the audience through a spiritual journey of light and shadow - a reflective ending of the gallery tour.
